SPRING IS IN THE AIR

Spring, its in the air…do you feel it? Lately, we have been having some mild temperatures here in East Coast. I’m talking about 60-70 degree weather. Such a teaser because today we are back down to the 30’s. But its still in the air, do you feel it? Spring is in the air.

Mr. Big Papa J (BPJ) knows how much I love a good bouquet. He came home the other day with two bouquets of flowers from the city (NYC). I was so excited when he surprised me with them. My mind immediately went to décor as I began to strategize as to how I will decorate this Spring. I placed the first bouquet in a white pitcher vase that can be placed pretty much anywhere in the house. I put it on top of my big butcher block on the center stainless steel island. Gotta love some solid wood and metal décor!!

Sometimes I will move it to the kitchen table just because I want to see it when I eat, when I sit here and doodle my thoughts for the blog, as I give the kids their snack and help them with their homework.  I just want it with me at all times.  I love the way it makes me feel, as if Spring is in the AIR!!!

I also took a few flowers from that bouquet to place in the white creamer for my coffee station.

Flowers add such a beautiful pop of color, a natural touch of Spring and its inexpensive to boot. Can we say WIN,WIN!!!

To continue on with this cool spring vibe I purchased a new rug from none other than TJ Maxx (absolutely obsessed with this store). This rug screams SPRING in every way!!!!

So do you feel it? C’mon you know you feel it!! It will be here before you know it!! Spring is in the AIR!!!! Well, ok in my head that is, and I can’t wait to tackle the rest of house.
